Cleaning

Keeping equine and livestock mats clean is essential for the health and comfort of your animals. Regular maintenance can help prevents build up of dirt and odors. We recommend basic cleaning for routine upkeep and deep cleaning for thorough sanitation
  1. Basic Cleaning: For routine maintenance, simply shake off pellets or shavings and use a damp cloth or mop with mild soap to wipe the surface.
  2. Deep Cleaning: For more thorough cleaning, you can use a hose to rinse the mats. If there are stubborn stains or dirt, applying a gentle all-purpose cleaner and scrubbing with a brush and power washer can effectively remove grime. We suggest dawn soap, Sani-T-10 or any disinfectant that is safe for animals.
  3. Drying: After cleaning, allow the mats to air dry completely before rolling or storing them.
